The good old circumflex accent mark takes the place of a prior /s/ that was removed 500 years ago. WHat happened 500 years ago to incite spelling changes. Aside from the printing press, which codified spelling rules, the accent mark craze seems to me to complicate the printing process.
What does that have to do with the shootings at Fort Hood. Fort is a a French word for strong, a stronghold if you will. Is everything connected? Are you connected to the current events, in your dreams, in your intuition, in your conversations, which recall random bits to share with others in a thread that keeps you in tune?
The shootings were preceeded by thoughts, by words, and then by deeds. Trailing back through the preceeding hours, days, weeks, months, etc., what was said, heard, sighed, whispered, written and deleted? What preceeds desparateness? What proceeds cunning? What follows desires, wishes and fears? What part of you already knows the answer?

Open for business

The point of hypnotherapy is simple. Edgar Cayce said it years ago. Your subconscious wants to communicate with you, your conscious mind. Your superconscious part of you is linked through the subconscious, not the conscious. That is why new years resolutions tend to not work, they are a conscious effort at change. Real change comes from the heart, the subconscious, the arcadia streams below the desert so to speak. Hypno stage antics are just that, like drinking and doping, giving people a cover for acting how that wish they could to fool around, but lack the courage in a sober venue, because those of us who can and do are called "wierd". Who said drunk is not wierd....
btw, if you are drunk when someone hypnotizes you, you will throw up...yuck....

I just watched The Daily Show rerun online. The minister of information got the lion's share of air time, and Jon Stewart looked nonplussed to have Anna representing a Jewish point of view that he wouldn't hear...yet gave time for the guy who called out liar...
glad to hear the Minister of information pointed out, like I did recently, that palestinians are christians too...and they have no voice in this debacle & deluge, of muslim preponderance of issues...and Anna's witness was, I hope enough, to have people read her book of observations of a war torn land...she is clearly not a plant for the whoever to distract, like my dear people who suspect misdirection strategies proclaim.....

Even on a show that is for exposing inconsistancies, we are really products of our initial upbringing, aren't we...it goes to show that our subconscious filter has a ceiling and that if new information doesn't match a way to align it with previous belief, then it is kicked out. Maybe his dreams can make sense of it, if he gives her book a read....

The hypnoidal state is the one we all, each and every one of us, go through right before sleep. It is also the state we are in when a fight or flight mechanism triggers a past fear or reaction, and so we react instead of act. I first learned of this when a very compassionate (from Wisconsin) school administrator pointed out to me that I was reacting instead of acting in a forward conscious manner. Now 30 years later I learn about the subconscious mind and its propensity to want sameness, search for familiarity and adjust our world accordingly. What am I too cozy in to change? What do we all have as a filter to view our world, so that when your favorite person sits aside you watching a movie, or hearing a message, you each pick something different about what it meant.
What was my filter to see Close encounters, a flic back in the 70's, as an Abrahmic voyage? Why do I spell Iraqui like that? Why can I talk about God's love in Spanish? Le coeur a des raisons que la raison n'en connait point. Who knows, but the heart.

We all wish and even hope that the choices we make are not random conquests of fate, via the god Loki (the trickster) and so we trust our very windy pathway to the future, the God of creation who lives and moves as we breathe, as we take action and use these marvelous bodies for good on this land, our action of each day. I have good news!

I found out yesterday that an office awaits me for my hypnoytherapy practice, as I travers the west half of this expansive America. Yes, there is a chiropcrator who has an open space just waiting for me to hang my shingle (and rhus tox, by the way is the homeopathic for shingles, and also for "better for motion").

October 12 - comments on AMERICA

Ok, it is for sure, the most ridiculous "holiday" to celebrate a guy who did not discover America. This is a call to action. It is not unlike the famous Santa Claus day, which in fact is December 6, if I remember correctly, and the Jesus birthday, another arbitrary decision to pick a day and stick with it, for the sake of something other than logic, reasoning and superior judgment. Again the 88% of the subconscious brain prefers the memories of childhood, to the ever incessant pressure to think with 12% of the conscious part of the brain. Who doesn't remember all the presidents' coloring projects and the famed cherry tree and the partially finished painting of Washington on every classroom wall. Yup, those were the days. So, where is the call to action you may add? Hail Leif Erickson and his merry band of marauders, berzerkers, and such. And if the last of the Mohicans could forgive us all our arrogance.
